It's in my blood

Even very young I can remember being creative. Making my own toys, taking things apart and eventually drawing what I saw.

Being fortunate to have a great art teacher in high school, Mrs. Burket believed in me and she also liked my work. It was the only class I got A's and B's in.

Another stroke of luck was attending a session on the Art Institutes in the U.S.

After receiving my degree in Adverting Design at the Colorado Institute of Art ... I work for many years as the Senior Artist at a few different companies, performing graphics.

Painting is in my blood, I have to do it. I love all kinds of art but my favorite is portraits. For me it's very simple; faces are fun to do.

So let me end this bio by saying all of these images are NOT photographs ... They are original works of art, drawn by hand with my favorite medium, dry soft pastels on paper.
